This is old songs of Achoot Kanya (Untouchable girl..story of a girl born in low caste ) and Kismat where Ashok kumar is the hero. (Shor gul na maccha )is song of around same time called Kismat I am sure you can find them. These movies are well before we were born but it is their music that keeps them still alive. Waisse bhi this movie is 1930 I think...so way before we were born. Another movie with same name KISMAT was aroung 1968 with music by OP Nayyar and i think one more came with Bobby Deol with same name. and Sonu was lead singer in it

Thanks for the excellent topic swar_raj ji...very true that today's music is nothing but shor sharaaba...its so obvious that songs of 'golden era'(truely called so) are obvious choice of any singer, be it stage shows,reality shows,competitions, to prove their mettle...with half-knowledge and arrogant people taking short cut to success, the values have come down drastically

How truely described by Ustad saab....these days, people spend less time on gaining knowledge and more on seeking attention...before attaining any standard, people jump in to make name...n think they have achieved everything....those gurus who still stick to disciplined way of teaching(like not moving to next lesson,lesson here can be raag or anything that is being learnt at the moment, unless the student gets the current one to perfection) are considered slow n wasting time...very unfortunate scenario...only hardships can lend one a quality result...donno when that period will come back....
