My own explanation 😛😛😛 : Seeta is the representative of land (her mother is Dharani - mother earth)

Also remember the story of cursed Ahalya? IMO – she represents the unfertile land of Northern India, where Aryans came with their farming technology and freed the land from the curse.

Rest of the story is actually the documentation of a battle over land by Aryans - making alliance with some of the 'local' non-Aryans (banar-sena) and fight against the rebellion 'locals' (Rakshashas)

Too much simplistic explanation😛😛 - I know! Now please don't kill me if I say there were very little difference (in foreign policies) between Puroshottam Ram and Hitler (the neo propagandist of Aryan invasion). After all it's who wins - writes history!😉

Anol, I am more keen to hear more on this Answer 4. Maybe one day, when time permits, we can discuss this offline.

I know the theory of Seeta and the Banar Sena, but the reference to Ahalya is new to me. Would love to know more on that.
