Navri and her eternal victimisation
Aishwarya is a much more versatile singer and is always singing in sur. Plus , he enjoys singing and sings from his heart. He does not rush through a song like Sharib and limited to high range songs.
Besides, HE has a very masculine voice which is more appealing to me.
He will suit the macho heroes well: Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan , John Abraham. Can you imagine Sharib singing for any of them. He might have a unique voice , but very limited.
Sharib is awsome, no doubt but prefer Aish.
The best were VInit, Hemu and Karunya!

disagree completely. sharib is a much more versatile singer than aishwarya, as he has proved himself in all different types of songs such as slow ones (suraj hua madham, dil deewana, dil hai tumhara, akele hain toh kya, in c-2005: mann ki lagan, tadap tadap, sayonnee) fast, speedy tracks (bindaas, tauba tauba, ek ajnabee), himesh-type nasal songs haha (tera surroor, in c-2005: aashiq banaya apne), and songs such as chaiyya chaiyya and zindagi mein koi kabhi. and sharib isn't limited to high range songs, he has proven himself time and time again in low scales in lower range songs such as suraj hua madham, dil deewana, pehla nasha, dil hai tumhara.
I'm sorry but I did not like him in any of the low range songs you mentioned including fiza , tadap tadap, dil hai thumhara , akele hai toh kya the abhijeet songs, hariharan etc. But, yes in the high range songs and speedy trakes he is excellent. I feel he rushes through a song not taking time to really feel the expression. However, if you thought he was good in the slow numbers and low range songs then I respect your opinion.
Just my POV and perspective. I fell Aishwary is definitely more versatile. I have not seen him limited to one singer, genre or range. He has the blow problem which he has corrected and is sounding marvelous. He is rocking these days.

also, one thing about sharib, which is one of his best qualities, is that his voice conveys SO much expression. if you listen in songs like tadap tadap, he has so much depth in his voice, and one thing which i get from his voice is pain. the intensity and pain in his voice in songs like tadap tadap is just mindblowing. he's the only one who has this type of "dhardh" (i can't spell in hindi, excuse me :) ) in his voice, and it's this quality about his voice which is simply gorgeous. aishwarya doesn't have that in his voice, and neither does ujjaini for that matter.
Wah Musiclover,
You have captured the essence of Sharib's singing and voice very well.
