Voting countdown begins on EMET - Page 2

Here is the map of India. Bihar borders West Bengal and Jharkand (Sanchali's state). These states may be voting for UA. Everything east and north of Bengal are the sister states which are probably voting for Banjo. Everything west of Bihar is neutral, and are voting for Sharib. The north Rajeev votes are going to Sharib. West is cosmopolitan, and Sharib probably attracts them just like Vinit did in C2005.

Let me clarify some general things about South..As many ppl think Madras as the only place in South India but its not so..
It consists of 4 states Karnataka,Andhra Pradesh,Tamil Nadu and Kerala,The principal language spoken here are Telugu,Tamil,Kannada(not kannad), Malayalam...

South forms around 22% of India geographically and demographically..All 4 languages spoken here are very much different from Hindi ,and hence except in cosmopolitan cities Bangalore,Hyderabad.hINDI can be hardly heard in other places,Thats Why less number of votes in competitions(Usually)....

Infact more than 30% population of Kerala are Muslims,But they dont speak Urdu,They usually speak some language similar to Malayalam(I would appreciate if anyone tlls what that language is called)..

And South people usually more concentarte on tech things abt music...Thats the reason Debu and Vinit got allmost equal votes from south in finals(Both were technically good)

EMET pair SI werefrom SOuth,Sinchan from Bangalore and Irfan from Hyderabad..

Oh sorry.. south too.. they're voting for UA. And I have no idea why. You would know better, since you're from there.

I would have expected south to get off voting once SI were out. Or maybe vote for Sharib, because of the decent amount of Muslim populace in Andhra/Kerala.

I have mentioned in the earlier post about Kerala Muslims (They usually dont speak Urdu...And Few of my friends in Bangalore who watch EMET are fans of UA ..i THINK Bangalore is supporting UA 😃(Not a conclusion of course)

Hi shadyhtown don't mind but this not a very healthy comment(marked in bold)...pls don't assume a Muslim will always root for someone based on religion only... their vision are not so narrow...they posses equal IQ/EQ like others, so they can root for BS or UA based on their singing only...

So far great analysis of India and voting pattern...but unlike last time pls don't drag regionalism into the discussion... each and every one has the right to vote for best singing jodi or jodi representing their state/region and leave it on themselves to set the priority...meanwhile we should vote fanatically to make our fav jodi win...

Yahaa pe to India ko cheer-phad ke voting analysis ki jaa rahi hai.. 😛 Guys, you will give Pranoy Roy and Vinod Dua a run for their money.. 😉

It seems like 2004 general election ka exit poll chal rahe hain. 😆 😆
