| Voting countdown begins on Ek Main Aur Ek Tu | |||
| The frenzy to vote for their favourite jodi on Ek Main Aur Ek Tu is catching up with viewers in India. A record 23 Lakh plus votes have been totally received by both jodis for their performances last week.
Ujjaini/Aishwarya and Banjyotsna/Sharib are the two jodis who are competing for the for the final winning spot. Zee is going all out to give both jodis an edge over the other by getting two different set of professionals to guide them in gearing up for the final muqabla. This Thursday (8 June) episode shows the public's response to the jodis.The state wise break up of votes from India reveal that Banjyotsna/Sharib are leading in Western India, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and overall in Northern India whereas Ujjaini/Aishwarya are leading in South India, Central India and Delhi. There is cut throat competition between the two jodis in East India as they are neck to neck in that region.
This episode also has actor Suniel Shetty as a guest. He has the important task of selecting his favourite jodi as that jodi would get a chance to sing a song with Hariharan. On the sets Shetty was all ears as both the jodis performed and made known that it was difficult to choose between the two talented jodis. But, based on the day's performance, he says, "Ujjaini/Aishwarya enjoy their craft and sang well and the chance to sing with Hariji should go to them." Shetty compliments the show saying, "This is a tremendous platform for talented youngsters and hearing such good fresh voices is always good for the industry."
