It is really enjoyable to see the youth participate wholeheartedly in such forum discussions .
I am in my early forties and not releated to music or show business , yet Read and enjoy .
BUT I am fully in agreement with many of you who call all this SHOW BAZI as a drama for evoking public interest and keeping the subject alive for a discussion for a week till the next show is held....
These TV people are really smart and are doing their jobs very well .. let them ...!!!
I share a few of my views which may sound like a Pravachan & excuse me if thats so ! I Still feel that elders have a responsibiltiy to share their candid opinions and let the youngsters choose and decide for themselves
So participants must understand
1. Focus .... Decide on one's Future Aspirations/Goals
2. Commitment .. Deep conscientious Involvement
3. Developing skills .. learning classical seriously & finding one's Orignal and a not Cultivated Voice...
4. Training .. long uninterrupted hours of practice
5. Planning ... organizing the time available
6. Accepting criticism .. its bound to come with growth
7. Respect for a competitor.. Thats a must if you want to survice in any Industry
8. Hope and have faith ... in HARDWORK.
9; Desperation to succeed... Just listen again to how Rajeev Sang his farewell song after being eliminated..
Jab dil sachhi dukhta hain ... to aapne aap dard bari Aawaj nikalati hai.... he really sang well. Flawless Sur .... thats want one of the Industry wallas will pick up and may be give him another LOOK
Generally I feel a successful person is one who is a little more MATURED than this competitor ..
Amongst the participants I could feel only really three matured individuals
Vishwas , Sanchali & Aishwarya
Others are still young and growing ..
Individually all of them are very good singers. Then it is only the question of the Tonal quality of the voice ..
it was VISHWAS ,ASHwariya and SAPTAK according to me who could give the present singers a run for their money...
I think all female singers could sing a back ground score for any Film on a any FACE .
But as jodis the last two are both very good and I hope the Music industry has already decided to give all the 18 participants a decent good look before rejecting any of them ... After all
18 in nearly 10 million good singers in this country ..; it thats not a bad estimate
SRGMP is a platform from where the future singers of the Industry will turn up MORE and MORE
Three Cheers for SRGMP .....
