Bela Shinde

On this forum I have often seen discussions on earlier winners of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. But one name that has never come up so far is Bel Shinde. Does anyone remember her? Sonu Nigam was the anchor then & that was probably the grandest of finals with judges comprising of Pt. Jasraj, Begam Parveen Sultana, Jagjit Singh, Anil Biswas,.list was huge- I'm forgetting names.

After winning the contest, she came out with an album which was a big flop. But again after so many years, I heard her in the movie 'Paheli'. Sha has a duet with Hariharan (Khaali Hai Tere Bina) amongst others & she's still fabulous!

It sad how she hardly got a chance all these years. Hope she earns a recognition now.
