All of you have just echoed my thoughts! A reason why Vinit and Himani felt the heat was probably that both of them were over-hyped by their gurus, and hence people had their mental thermometers already rising for them.. Hema was the under played singer by AS and hence has the 'sympathy' thing going on for him.. and on that day, he possibly wanted to act the scapegoat and let vinit and himani do all the talking and keep the sympathy factor intact! But anyway that was not to be!

Yes - possibly the whole thing was scripted.. but someone of Nihira's calibre and honesty would have never agreed to it! No wonder, she was the only singer who came out cleanest from the show!

Even Paresh made a decent exit..despite being overlooked by mentor..
