Debojit Saha Debojit Saha, the young singer from Silchar, Assam, who won the Sa Re Ga Ma Challenge 2005, is a sad man. Though HMV Sa Re Ga Ma launched his first ever solo album, with eight songs sung and written by Debojit himself, he is yet to get his apartment, as promised by Zee TV. It has been over three months after he was announced the winner and he has no clue about his new abode. Contract clause When contacted, Debojit was initially reluctant to confess that he got a raw deal from the channel. "I am still under a contract with Zee, and have to give 50 per cent of what I earn from shows or song recordings, to the channel. Though Zee is supposed to fetch me programmes and shows, the bitter truth is that the offers for most of my shows have come directly to me — and not through the channel." House hunt Debojit continues to live in his rented house in Malwani Jankalyan Nagar, and admits it is difficult to commute to the recording studios, in Juhu and Lokhandwala. "I have tried looking for another place, but haven't succeeded yet. I hope Zee carries out its promise and hands over the promised flat to me as early as possible. I really do not belive that Zee will keep their promise all the way the way if they really wanted they would have done every thing by now and I am still wondering about the news about Vinit that Zee also have 2 years contract with him. Even though he is no part of that winning.

This is Sad to see he is still getting all kinds of run around with Promise made by Zee. I am sure they will find a way to solve all his issues at there convenient time now that will be when God only knows. I hope Debojit fight all the way for all his right. God bless him.

sorry dont like amey much.dunno i thought he wasnt exceptional.good voice quality but not always in sur.did give a few bad performances as well🤢.but then i didnt watch ii2 much

He was the best in II2. Though RAHUL VAIDYA was the best of bth II contestants.

Amey Date is a mediocre singer?! Sorry to say he's a former SRGM megafinalist so he's not just a 'mediocre singer'.

Anyway, this is a real shame! If Zee promised Debojit a apt, then he should get the apt! Its not even a luxury, its a necessity! He needs to be near the studios for recordings etc. Unprofessional zee 😡

Good going Debojit. 👏 Maybe this will force Zee to carry out its promise.

Poor Debojit! Zee needs to live upto their promise and hand him the keys to the flat as promised. It's very shameful that its been over 3 months.

It is really very sad 😡
Debojit will emerge winner in the long run among all the odds. 👏 👏
