The results were expected.
UA were going to be the most to benefit from Saptak's exit and Ujjaini got all the Kolkotta votes. They had to go top.
PH had been going to perform in front of people and beg them for votes for the past two weeks (Ludhiana and Indore) - it had to show some combined effect eventually, hence the number 2 spot.
TV stayed constant - with the regular diehard fans. They didn't gain too many new ones after last week's attitude, but their good performance and Bappida's gold chain tamasha helped keep their old fans loyal. Only jodi to always be in top 3 from the start.
BS didn't perform too well last time, so didn't gain too many neutral viewers, but Joyeeta's Assam share was good enough to bring them to only within 8,000 votes of TV (that's only like a 0.5% difference!). Things looking up for BS now that they also got good judges comments after a long while.
SR were top for too long, and with Rajeev forgetting a line every week, people's patience and the law of averages had to catch up with them - they had the biggest fall. They may still make it through next week though. That is, if they survive Jammu alive first.
SI were going to go sooner or later. Southies don't vote. Southies don't win. Simple as that. Although a pair of Southies did try their utmost to keep them in the competition, but there's only so much you can do.
I predict the veto will be used either next week, or the week after. They won't save it for final 3.
