Burmanda always caried paan while recording. and in one interview Lataji said tht wnehever he was happy after a recording he used to giv a paan to her.

Did anyody mention that Paan is mosty eaten with the tobacco and henceforth is one of the single largest causes of mouth cancer in India? 😕

Thanks Swar & MPL for the wonderful article & interesting titbits 👏.....my mom's a paanaholic to the core 😆 she always makes it a point to carry her paan ka dabba which is known as 'paaner baata' in Bengal.She even brought it here to the US while she visited me 😛
