CHEMISTRY vs SINGING - Page 2

In duet singing, both Singing n Chemistry are important. I do not mean to say physical chemistry. i mean the co-ordination of the singers. When both are in proper agreement with each other and the song, we can say that the song is successsfully n properly sung.

There's nothing wrong with enhancing one's performance within the realm of a stage show by supporting the emotions of the song with physical expression. This is what separates a good live show from a great one.

However since the purpose of the show (i'm guessing here since there's been little evidence to support this) is to hunt out the talent primarily for playback singing. And since we have arrived at playback singing how many of us conjure up the face of the singer as opposed to that of the actors whose job it is to inject the 'physical' chemistry into the song.

Hence we come again to the question of singing or chemistry for the contestants....undoubtedly it has to be the singing

more likey singing but at times chemsitry cuz people feel good after seeing how they dance and put up their seleves

When two people dance..they have to be in perfect harmony..otherwise one partner will be left with a dammaged foot. 😉 .

Same in figure skating..the two partners should be perfectly synchronised so that they don't fall and break their bones..

same in cricket..the two batsmen should have perfect understanding between themselves so that there is no run out.

Likewise in singing especially in a duet, the two playback singers should be in complete sync with each other so that the situation or the mood they are singing for is portrayed to make it look real.This according to me is chemistry..on the same wavelength.

However,if they are singing live and if it is a seduction song..it does not necessarily mean they have to make love on the stage..the sensuousness or the passion should come from the voice not body.That according to me is chemistry..and delivering that chemistry from your voice to suit the need of the requirement is singing.So in reality they are pretty much interconected.

But I do not know if this is the definition leslie has or not.
