I agree Saptak and Debojit would be the best. After all Kishore Kumar was the KING of Dard Bhare Geet, and both Debu and Saptak are fantastic with KK songs.

Just listen to Badi Sooni Sooni hai sung by Debojot. It is just terrific.👏👏👏

Debojit was outstanding in "Mere naina sawan bhado', 'Badi sooni sooni hai' and 'Rimjhim gire sawan' - he is simply superb in sad numbers...

Don't remember 'Diye jalte hai' from Saptak but going by the fact that he can sing Kishore'da number songs really well, I am sure he can sing them beautifully....

One thing Appa - whether Kishore'da was the king of sad numbers is always debatable... I am a huge Kishore'da fan, but when it comes to this genre, we have great numbers from Rafi saab and Talat Mehmood too... I personally think, Rafi saab had maximum pathos in his voice..

Debu is good..I think Nihira is also good,sharib will be good and yes even Himani can be good.

vinit can also sing sad songs very well though i dont remember he sang any 😕
but given a chance he will surely prove himself 😃

I know this is highly debatable. Agar Abhi yaha hota to abhi shuru ho jata. 😆 I am a huge fan of Rafi Saab and Talat Mehmood, but Amitabh, Kishore, and RD makes me weak. 😃. So its always KK for me.
