So far as my knowledge goes,it's a belief that chewing a mulethi helps cure all throat problems.I had a girl in my class who used to chew mulethi all the time as she believed that would help her sing better.Sinchan was doing the same thing,I guess 😊 .

No,it doesn't but some people wrongly believe that it may improve the quality of singing.

thanks shady for the info.Now,at least we know that mulethi is good for sore throats or a bad cough.
