This week....
The public voting resulted in the following order
1. Rajiv -Sanchali
2. Twinkle-Viswas
3. Sharib-Banjyotsna
4. Hrishikesh-Prajakta
5. Saptak-Joyeeta
6. Aishwarya-Ujjaini
7. Irfan-Sinchan
Raktima jodi is out (I forget the name of the guy). I believe they were out because of what the guy uttered (it was bleeped) last week. Obviously publ;ic did not like the fact that he uttered obscenity for his partner in front of the camera.
The best performance of the evening was from Viswas-Twinkle. They sang "Ni Main Samajh gayi" from Taal. What a lovely performance. They picked a perfect song because voice of Twinkle is perfect for this high-bass song.
A close second in terms of performance was by Sharib-Banjyotsna. They sang "Ek Look Ek Look Pyaar wali Sajana". We all are familiar with Sharib's caliber so I am not going to harp on that a whole lot. His alaap just blows me away. What a voice this guy has got? Let me point towards Banjo. I mean the lady does not open her mouth a whole lot but what a singing !! I wonder what she can do if she opens her mouth a little bit more. She has been a revelation in this show. I love this jodi.
Rajiv is not not going too far... is my prediction. He gets too emotional too easily and it shows in his singing. Yesterday he was so emotional after being selected number 1 that he could not sing his song properly. He actually broke down. Not a good sign.
