Fanaa - JL in outstanding form - Page 2

i love the song "mere haath mein" 👏 😳

The music of "Fanaa" is really outstanding when compared to the current trend of "Animalistic Howling", but not one of the best from Jatin Lalit.

The first song of the album "Chand Sifarish" is just brilliant. Both Shaan and K. Kher are very good. I personally feel its one of the best songs sung by Shaan, he is nothing short of brilliant. Kailash Kher's "Subhan Allah" just goes through your heart.

The children's number "Chanda Chamke" is a very fun number to listen to, and also very difficult to sing with the tongue twisting lyrics. Everyone in that song is very good, but I personally did not like Babul Supriyo in that song. He could not bring the life requied for this song. He could not bring out the "Fun Quotient" of the song and at times sounded as if he was singing a romantic number. I feel Shaan would have done complete justice to that song. I think Babul sang the song because his song in Hum Tum was a superhit and Kunal Kohli and JL considered him a lucky charm. These guys are generally very superstitious.

Mahalaxmi, Sonu Nigam did complete justice to the songs they sang, but I did not like the songs by Sunidhi Chauhan. I think Shreya Ghoshal would have done a better job. The tonal quality required for the soft numbers sung by Sunidhi was not appropriate and sounded too husky. (Again, that's my personal opinion)

Prasoon Joshi once again proved that he is one of the best lyricist of this new era.

JL are the best music director although they failed as mentors.I was their fan but sad that this will be their last film together. Anyways, Fanaah songs are really very good composed by JL. Once again they have proved that they are the best MD. After all who can forget their songs of Joh jeeta...... then DDLJ and DTPH and also kuch kuch hota hain and many more etc etc...............And now Fanaah. I hope the film clicks. Fanaah songs are really very very good but as far as I have heard their songs before these songs are simply not the best but they are very touchy songs. Well done JL. You are the best. Even if you both are separated hope that you still do the best in future......
