There are a lot of Bongs on this show: Raktima, Niladri, Ujjaini, Sanchali,
Saptak, Joyeeta (who am I missing?). Sinchan is married to a Bengali. Yeah,
one more Bong and then it will be half Bengali and half non-Bengali. Given
the current quality of this show, this is not making me happy!

But I would love to see a regional song round!

hmmm....... do u guys remember PRASHANT? he used to be an EXCELLENT singer! very very versatile... it was soooo sad he lost in sa re ga ma pa C2005. he won the old SRGMP, the one right before C2005... if he comes to this contest then let me tell u, he will make history

Absolutely agree with you. With the quality of singing churned out by most on the show, the question that keeps oft repeating in the head is "where's the musical talent of Bengal heading .... ?"
