I was talking about BEFORE he got to agni pariksha..this vote divide business started much later.. i think with paresh gettin voted out.. hmm i dont understand when u say Nihira didnt have regional support..she was the only contestant from mumbai.. and mumbai is known to strive to make a winner from tat state.. see how aggresively they promoted Abhijit Sawant and then even Amey Date.. Abhijit won and Amey lost because the north was able to vote for than people from west..

I really dont care for some people's comments, but it irritates me when they make some stupid analysis and judgements. Anyway I think we will carry on our discussion as before ignoring the rather caustic remarks. I agree Karunya is awewome, or wait, our expert forum members may find that he slipped sur or sang wrong swaras etc etc, but unfortunately for him diction is anot an issue. I wonder what they would other criticism they would come up with. I think Karunya would have been awesome on SRGMP but again the judges in Indian Idol are really fair, what can I say about SRGMP judges? enough discussed

IMO, having a gorgeous voice is god given, and having extra-ordinary talent (putting in your own touches in aalmost all songs) is god given. But only with training can one be successful. I have seen all the above in Hema.

Wat alaaps did you hear Hema vs Debo? Neither did a whole lot in SRGMP for you to make judgements on those.

jadoogarji, the topic is not why Hema did not win SRGMP, but about the judges attitude towards him. But anyway from your post, it seems like if HEma or anyone was from Assam he would hands down win this competition!! Thats absurd isnt it!!!

Nihira was the best not better. cannot say the same for Sharib, but he was definitely one of the good singers not consistent though.

I think what autmother meant by stupid analysis was actually LACK of sesible analysis or any whatsoever. If you call someone besura, you have to back it up with when and where. Otherwise, it is just bashing, and that's what the fans don't have tolerance for.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, if you are going to find faults in other singers, there should be some good points backing up your POV. Orelse don't.
