Remember II2 episode where Meenal made a very decent attempt of 'Hum dil de chuke sanam'... and Farah said ki tumne bilkul achha nahi gaya, tum aankhen band karke ga rahi thi, audience se nahi connect kiya, dil ko nahi chhua 😡 And the next week Meenal was voted out 😭 😭

I think Javed Akhtarji put it aptly when he said to Qazi in Fame Gurukul that "Qazi you have the x-factor in you. Agar aapko dus bando ke saath kada kardiya zaaye tho nazar seedhe aap pe zayegi."

So x-factor is something that makes one stand out among the sea of sameness. It is not necessarily looks, it could be the way you smile, the way you move on stage, the way you speak or sing, etc. It is that quality that makes people like you instantly and start rooting for you.

QAZI HAD THE X FACTOR BUT DIDNT HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO SING🤢

WHILE IN SRGPM VINIT AND HIMANI BOTH HAD THE X FACTOR AND CONTROL OVER SUR

SO THERES NO HARM IN HAVING X FACTOR UNLESS AND UNTILL U SING WELL

Perhaps, X-factor is that undefinable factor which cannot be bought from the stores or manufactured or fake it, either you have it or u dont...and it is what makes one standout in a crowd of wannabes..(as rightly said)

It not about looks, but the whole package and inherent charm, that makes one connect to their audience.

Example: SRK might not be the greatest actor, he is conventionaly not handsome nor is exceptionally talented like say Naseerundin Shah .....but he has loads of X-factor and stands out..Something in him connects him to his target audience..

You love him or Hate him but you cant ignore him!

X-factor is a major indegrient which makes one a STAR!
