It might sound crazy for a filmmaker to rope in top 10 stars of the industry to perform in a video for his film.

Probably it wasn't all that crazy for ace photographer turned filmmaker Subi Samuel who for his first film Alag roped in mighty names like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Preity Zinta, Bobby Deol, Sushmita, Bipasha, Priyanka and so on. The idea is that all these people talk about his lead character in the song picturised.

The character Tejas is played by Akshay Kapoor (Popkorn Kaho Maast Ho Jao). He is a character with special powers- so the title Alag.

The title track is directed by Ashu Trikha. Four to five actors were shot at once to facilitate the shoot. Akshay plays this extra ordinary character that wants to be accepted as normal.

The leading lady of the film is Dia Mirza. The music for this song is composed by Aadesh Srivastav and the lyrics are written by Nusrat Badr. The singers include Kunal Ganjawala, Gayatri Iyer, Nihira, Hemchandra,😃 Shaan and so on. The film will be released on April 7.
