you have mentioned in varioius of your posts that you are mentoring nihira, can u tell us what exactly are you teaching/coaching nihira? just curious.

she will het a contract! when she sang at the grand finale did u guyz see how impressed those music people were! she will definetely get a contract

nihira has tremendous potential to rock the industry. hope a rivalry does not start between Shreya (my favorite singer) and Nihira but this seems to be wishful thinking since Nihira and Shreya has very sweet voice and tends to sing the similar types of songs - so a rivalry seems unavoidable.

I know nothing about music, I enjoy it like everyone else. I know Bollywood, I know business and the real world out there in Mumbai. I will continue to help in logistics, networking, shaping the career, marketing, political and business issues. You will be amazed how much more it takes to get things going. Like any business, it is never easy to get going. What she has is excellent to get one in the door but then you soon realize you are only at first base. As she said: "My journey has just begun" and she is right.

I know Shaan is giving her some very good advise - smart advice which I commended today. ID is her great well wisher and can provide her the turbo propulsion she needs to get her career going. Her parents are also very instrumental and helpful but it gets very cut throat competition in Bollywood with Shreyas being the biggest competitor as I see it .

Let us hope for the best and pray for her success......😉

it seems that these days talent is just one of the components of success. You need to have streetsmartness, Mentors in the industry , socializing skills to make it BIG in BIG BAD BOLLYWOOD. I hope &pray Nihira does well in all these departments too. You cant afford to be simple in Bollywood. But to talk about Music i think her competion is with Alka Yagnik as well as Shreya.

Hey u mentioned that shaan is giving advice to Nihira? I always wondered whether shaan was close to Nihira..is it true? Because apart from saregampa i dont think there paths would cross?

Shaan has done a song with her and likes her. If you recall, on one show HR had promised Monday morning 930 am tum Studio aa jana - well HR has not done crap for her after making all these promises. My feelings aside for HR, a man should live by his commitment or not make them - first rule of business. But this is Bollywood.

Marketing Nihira thru shows overseas, landing her into key contracts and putting her in the right circles will becaome the biggest challenge of the hour. This is all life beyond C2005 and as Abhijeet Da mentioned in the finaley: It is the real world from here on. I agree Alka will be competition but 9 out of 10 times, Producers and MDs will be deciding between Nihira and shreyas - Friend17 was right on with his gut feel..... I am seeing it even right now and it will only get wose with time as you will see.
Notice when Shreyas met NJ, I did not feel she was too cordial...

I agree Nihira was the best. She was already sounding like a matured established singer when she began. I am really saddened that she did not win the contest and even among girls. Himani was good,but honestly Nihira was wayyyyyyy above every one, She sang with so much ease. There was another thread about versatile singer, but I decided to not reply as they claim Debojit and Twinkle are versatile. But if anyone was it is Nihira. She sang all kind of genre songs with so much ease. But she was so sweet, pure and no gimmicks. Hey even her parents especially her mom was so sweet and always a smiling face. She really is my winner followed by Hema .
If it were to be like the previous contests I bet it would be NIhira winning .
