I love them both: Shaan

Shaan, who shares a great relationship with both Debojit Saha and runner-up Vineet Singh, is matter of fact about the closely contested battle for the Voice of India.

"I love both Debojit and Vinit — they're both versatile singers and are ready to enter the industry. But I guess one has to go through this in a contest — there can only be one winner," he shrugs.

Acknowledging the fact that Debojit benefited from the dedicated support of his state, Shaan says that these trends are here to stay.

"Together, Debojit and Vinit have polled 12.5 million SMS votes in the audience poll section, which is a huge figure. I think it is great to have the support of your state. Debojit won because he had the full support of his state, but what's wrong with that?"

Having experienced first-hand the emotional ups and downs during the show, not to mention the controversies, Shaan has a philosophical take on whatever happened: "We just had to accept the fact that the show was leading its own way and creating itself."
