ok After reading all 9 pages posting still I am feeling to write my own congratulation message to Debojit.

CONGRATULATION to
1. Vandana - The first name is Vandana as it was her decision to move to Bombay (as I read in Debojit's interview) & keep so much faith in Debojit. Being someone's wife I feel we wives are allways think about future & scare to take risk. But it was really wonderful about her that she was so confident about Debu's talent & honour her mum-in-laws wish. GREAT work.

2. Ismail Darbar - May be we all knew very liitle about him as a person. But this sa re ga ma shows us how great he is. Only these good persons can compose those great songs. He bacame one of my idol. A true GURU who allawys encourage other participants & scolded his own student in front of audience, that shows how genuine he is.

3. North East - I have no words for them. They have shown how much they care for their son. GREAT JOB.

4. Debojit's Supporter - Must congratulate to all those who voted for Debojit including me & my 5 year daughter as well. We NRI get very little chance to relate in this kind of activities. We all have done GREAT job.

5. DEBOJIT - I Congratulate Debu more as a person than as singer. In this show there were lot of other singers who were equally good. But only Debojit shows how much GREAT he is as a person. God bless you!!!! You will reach at the top because you have a great heart & soul in you.

6. Himeshji - For hyping VINIT & giving less points to Debojit which helped him to get more votes.

7. Adeshji - For giving low points to Debojit & bad mouthing about him & plotting that walkout drama which raised his votes.

8. VINIT - For staging that walkout drama. Which shows your immaturity but I really wish good luck to you. You must learn from this show that you must have good heart before you achieve anything.

Best of luck to other deserving singers as well specially I want to mention Hemachandra. He deserved to be in final two. But I am sure he will also rise at the top as he is also have good culture & heart.

DEBOJIT IS AWESOME, CONGRATS TO DEBU AND ISMAIL DARBAR!!! 😃

It is a pity that deserving singers were left out in this show and it ended with Debojit winning in the end.. He didn't deserve to be in top 10. Despite over 50 % of the votes coming from East, Vinit managed a loss margin of <1 % which means Vinit is the winner between the two. Overall I feel Hemu or Nihira or Himani needed to win.


Let's hope that SRGMP 2006 final results will not be left in the hands of public and regionalism and a panel of noted singers and music directors will take the final decision.

We supported Debu from day1 and yesterday it was like dream come true to seem him winning the contest.

He deserved it and he won it.

Very nice. You mentioned Hemachandra. But I would add Nihira. She has also culture and sanskar. Hemachandra should not have joined those two, Vinit and Himani. He did a mistake but I know his heart is pure.

I enjoyed the scene where Rajeev and Paresh lifted Debo up and Hemachandra also joined them. God bless them.
