i dont understand why people hate vinit...all he did was sing better than debo in every round get higher marks than him and present his reasons for why he wants to win..which debo did aswell..infact debo used cheap tricks like moms death..OBVIOUSLY people will turn to that more than a love thing..or topi stunt..ismail walked out because of debo...OBVIOUSLY people will support a veteran composer like ismail...debo and ismail are cheap and cant even play fair...debo won because he got over 1 crore votes from the east..everywhere else gave him 30-50 lacs..that is SO SAD...debo fans are probably the stupidest bunch of people i have ever seen in my life...do they seriously not hear his voice crack in songs?..his mis pronounciation in words?..like c'mon...stop being biased...maybe hes a poor helpless guy...but this isnt salvation army..it was a singing thing..and he clearly sucked...sharib is hands down better..and sharib was ousted so long ago...debo stuck around because of his sobby stories...and assams pathetic method of keeping him...just sad....you people are so biased...its sick

the announcement that debo is the winner just made my day. in US Saturday and Sunday r weekends and the show took place on Friday. that was a great way to end the week.

WELL EVEN THOUGHT HE WON I DONT THINK HES ALBUM WILL DO THAT GOOD WHERE AS IF VINIT RELEASES HES ALBUM IT WILL DO MUCH MORE BETTER THEN DEBO'S ALBUM. I don't think HR is going to throw his career into the gutters just to prove a point: To make Vinit a star.

Maybe HR really believes in Vinit but I won't blame him if he considers some of the practical issues like the risk involved (success of the movie - hit/flop) in using Vinit's voice.

Vinit needs to wait for 2-3 yrs before developing his voice further and then he might have a better shot at playback singing.

Right now, Vinit is no where close to debo when it comes to voice quality and versatility.

Anyway, congratulations to debo and my best wishes to Vinit.

debo sang some of the most difficult songs (qawwali for example) in the competition and he stamped his authority over Vinit when it came to versatality. Vinit stuck to his Rafi/ Sonu numbers and played safe within his comfort zone.

when it came to voice quality debo beat vinit hands down. I can hardly find any hero singing with Vinit's voice. It's like some1 who grew in every way except that his voice was trapped in time.

I used to support Vinit almost upto the 2nd round of agnipariksha but HR's over-hyping of Vinit like a legend (no harm in that, a mentor is free to hype his/her students as much as he/she wants), exposed his flaws and limitations more strongly than covering them up (I felt).

Now future is future, but looking at the present, I find debo's winning completely justified.
