Victory of truth. ID knocks out HR

Well, at long last a silver lining to an unpredictable and sometimes disappointing show. Debo and Vinit both are good but what really is heartening to me is at the end, all of HR's antics, all his troubles, all his nautanki from day one has come to nothing. This is a nice tight slap to any person who manipulates. Hopefully, no one else will attempt to fool the music loving people. We already have politicians playing with people, we dont need artists to join them.

I feel Debo should really be thankful to two factors. NE people and Ismail darbar. From day one, ID was looking out only for talent till AD and HR started ganging up. And ultimately people realized and remembered that. I dont believe that just NE votes let debo win. Unless a few people from all corners of the country voted for him, he could not have won. Fanatics on both sides vote for their candidates. And it is these middle rung of people who saw thru HR and appreciated ID's honesty that made the difference. In short it was abt HR and ID as much as it was between debo and vinit.
And in the end Honesty trounced Evil. My commisserations for Vinit and a proverbial finger to HR

I agree!!! Both Vinit and Debo are good, but I believe the one person who really destroyed Vinit is HR...his constant praising and putting down of other contestants has come to nothing! I am happy Debo has won, all of the contestants were awesome and all have gotten the opportunity to sing in upcoming films so they are all winners. Now HR can shut up once and for all!!

Another important point: for a singer whose native tongue is not Hindi [Debojit, Hemu, Niharika, Paresh and some of the other finalists] this is an even greater victory.

- again, articulated really well. It's the same thing also with elections. In the U.S., the Presidential elections are basically decided by 10 or so toss-up states, the rest are already spoken for. Even within those 10-odd states, the elections come down to a few hundred thousand people because everyone else is so decided. So getting that middle ground is very important especially in closely contested elections. HR mucked up by alienating so many folks- it was 4 vinit to lose n between the two of them they saw to it that they did.
