I am back with today's last and final update.Lets hope that it ends with a good spirit and leaves us with some good memories..show is about to begin in any moment from now.. as usual as a rule I WILL EDIT THE SAME POST.. and please if the moderators doesnt make it sticky please do a GFTP ( go to first page) , so that every body else can go through it...
just before this ,rightnow i am watching SARKAR.. they are showing somebody coming to priyamvada ( i think she is the main lead) and telling her that you got some tickets for the SRGMP finals..WOW this has never happened that in a serial you are showing this.i mean i have seen people dancing in some shaadis as a part of serial but never seen this..that made me laugh like anything :).that lady is saying that i think vinit will win and priyamvada is saying that DEBOJIT got a good voice... I AM LOVING IT.
The FINAL show has begun. for the last time i listening to the introduction song " saat suron ka hai yeh "..it started with a breif history of SRGMP..with some avs on sonu, amaan ali and then shaan...then the achievers like shreya , sneha pandit, md. Vakeel. sanjeevni...followed by avs on SRGMP Challenge 2005.all the emotional moments...and all the happy moments...
What a STAGE !!!! grand and magnificent atmosphere and crowd is at their full swinng...it would have been a treat to be there and watch the show live.After a GAP of so many years ZEE finally got a SUPER DUPER HIT programme.shaan welcomed all the audience...he is wearing a black sherwani and with red handkerchief popping out of his pocket.. some where i am feeling it is a DEFFERED live telecast....now all the finall contestant comign out and singing " aaj nahi to kal "...all of them are wearing black dresses. first voice which i can recognise was that of RAJEEV...and SHARIB doing a alaap from back...twinle is looking gorgeous..well i have serious doubts if they are doing LIP SYNCHING.
SHAAN introduced VINIT and DEBO.followed by HR and ID. vinit and HR came together and debo and ID. I msut say ID is also looking awesome.. shaan asked HR about the winner and HR said that only upar wala knows....he said he went to siddhi vinayak temple and he prayed that god should remain with themm.. id said that only publi and god knows who is the winner..
now break..
jsut notice something about shaan. one of the pocket flapper is coming out and and the other is inside..this is the worst dress he has ever worn..again there is a AV on the history of SRGMP.. i though vinit looked better in his long hairs...it is a long av and we all know about it so nothing to tell about it..again there was a clip on that stupid ASSAM thing and ID walk out and his return..whcih concluded that if DEBo can make his mother's dream true and can VINIT get his beloved...
VINIT came to the stage singing " chaand tare tod laon" from yes boss... somewhere the orchestra music is not audible and it is not giving that effect..vinit is weating the NIKE topi...as usual VINIT is singing awesome ....but trust me, somewhere somethign is missing..it is not creating that effect which VINIT generally creates..either because of song aur the music.....
DEBO came with "ek paal ka jeena" from kaho na pyaar hai...again somethign is missing..either the TV camera and the audio system are very far from the stage..it is appearing we are listening to the music from a distance of 500 meters....looks like DEBO was little better because of the choice of the song .......
Now VINIT turn..he is singing " aashiq bhi hoon" from badshaah.. two songs from ABHIJEET...this was one was better but again why is he choosing these songs....man he is missing his punch , specially when he is singing badashah...VERY VERY WRONG CHOICE.. HR what are you doing?
DEBO started with " its magic " from " koi mil gaya".. good choice... I am feeling very sorry for VINIT , his both songs were wrong choice.....DEBO is performign really well.. ican see KUNAL KAPoor and Rakesh Om Prakash MEhra from rang de basanti fame....DIYA MIRZA is also looking good but she is not ont he stage with SHAAN..perhaps she will join later...
now both of them are singing " kaal kaal mein" from the movie KAAL...ordinary performance by both of them....now a BREAK
i can see UDIT NARAYAN, JOHNY LEVER, and lot more....now a performance by the last 10 contestants...They started with a AV on their previous memories...with the song "nagme hai , shikwein hain" from yaadein in the backyard....... and u can immediately recognise that this is the voice of HEMACHANDRA...great voice but my dear please it is not HEYN it is HAIIN...
now they started with the title song of rang de basanti" and guess who started it is is RAJEEV and SWANANDA.. only these two are singing and with the enitre crew of rang de basanti sans aamir on the stage....sorry only kunal and rakesh...beleive me, the song suited RAJEEV perfectly...they have sung this song twice in the SRGMP finals and no one ever sounded as good as RAJEEV.....
now it is the turn of of ujjaini and raktima...they sang " na pairon mein kagna" which is actually halla halla re from neal and nikki..initially i could not recognise the song...ujaani is looking little tanned and looks like ahs lost some weight...raktima is again giving a free voice performance and without any effort...good but as good as rang de basanti...
guess what who is next...himani and hema entered in a motor bike...what a voice. HEMA has.... AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ..beleive me he is SO GOOOOOOOOOOOD.. am i sounding little biased...but u cant stop falling in love with hema's voice..listen to his voice and i am 100 % sure himani is lyp synching...this is not her voice....come on HIMANI doesnt require to do that..out of the three.. this was the best ONLY AND ONLY because od HEMA.. i remember bejan daruvala's prediction about HRMA..is is all MEWA for him....
now sharib came with "ek nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hai" ..he is doign a solo...trust me , this guy has also lot of talent.....sorry i didnt see nihira.....it is both SHARIB and NIHIRA....ia m dissappointed , NIHIRA doesnt have any scope in this song...man she could have gone for a solo..it is SHARIB all the way in this song..i think sharib's voice has changed a little bit...he is sounding even better....but NIHIRA could have gone for somethign else.....
PARESH came with a song " ek ajnabee" from ek ajnabee and TWINKLE made a great entry jsut like a heroine ..she is looking a heroine..this song is not so popular so that out of the 5 this is the last.. ....but trust me they sang it really well just becuase the song is not popular.......
hey i can see chote ghulam ali khaan....there is every one from musci industry...now all of them came with the song "chote chote shehro se" from the bunty and bably...well ia m really sorry for the choice of the songs...how can this be used a group song..there are so many more....now break
now himani came with jsut chill.. HIMANI is doing lyp synching again.this is not her voice.....here comes vinit .....with himani...now vinit is building up the tempo...superb performance .....looks hte first initial just chill sequence was not himani's voice but later on you can identify it is himani's voice...little husky...VINIT IS picking up the mood ..you have to watch it to beleive it....this song suits him...VINIT HAS STARTED ROCKING...i c an see alka now..
guess what debo and nihira came with a duet and the song "gunji si saari dishayein" fromt he flop movie " kyon ho gaya na"...wow again a good choice by debo.this suits him...and here comes the majesty of nihira...she is sounding so good and geling good with debo....alka must be having some tensions..she is sounding so sweet.......and debo voice is also sounding good and very melodious.....but right now i am listening to NIHIRA...do i sound biased again...cant help it .. just like hema , you will fall in love with NIHIRA's Voice....lsiten to thier alaps...you will feel so good..
shan welcomed UDIT, ABHIJEET and KUNAL to the stage...shaan asking all of them , who is india's voice...he first asked UDIT..udit greeted every body...UDIT escaped by saying, that he loved both of them..both of them are good..now KUNAL..he is saying also lot of things which means he will also skip...and rightly pointed KUNAL also skipped..now abhijeet....shaan tried his tricks to get something from hi, and abhijeet is too smart to get into that..he said there real test will begin now. which means he also skipped.abhijeet also said some good things about lata and she is the only godess..as a whole .....three of them skipped their opinion...:):):)
here comes diya mirza.. she joined shaan to co host..she is lookign gorgeous...shaan usually at his flirtest best..diya is saying that ki mera pyaara vinit jiteega ki nahi ...there was a av and every body where all the guests are wishing debo and vinit all the best..now
here comes with "one love" fromt he movie "rakht"....guess what shaan is also singing with vinit...one love....awesome performacne...i am loving it...VINIT is matching with SHAAN...well u have to taken into account that shaan is a professional but VINIT is not far behind..he is matching SHAAN step by steep , word by word and sur by sur..
now shaan and DEBo came up with " dus bahane" ..awesome...however trust me, vinit duet with shaan was better than debo and shaan...what a voice shaan has...somewhere something was not matching....
both vinti and debo had to work harder on thier english pronunciation...
now diya is flirting with shaan...good pair...diya said shaan i love you too..and she hugged shaan....atlast shaan got his much needed hug :)
now HR and AS came to the stage and JL..HR is saying soemthing..looks like he is not upto his antics...ID came and said "kitne aadmi the"..ID said we all have worked hard for all the contestants...and he shouted yalgaar ho.now shaan welcomed Jagjit and ghulam ali khaan...every body stood up in respect...jagjit said some routine encouraging pep talks...ghulam also said some nice things....ghulam presented some momentos to ID and AS and Jagjit did that for Jl and HR.
Now shaan said that HImani won among the girls . he invited her to the stage...She came with the song " jiya jiya dhadak" from kalyug...this time she has changed her dress from balck to white...little sub dued performance...the last alap was superb..but she missed sur few times..shaan called alka and fardeen khan to present himani the award...fardeen is looking so cool..she said that when himani was singing the song previously ,she literally cried..and you know she also mentioned NIHIRA in her praisings...looks like she is already getting nervous...:) fardeen also said some good things with a tincture of accent...he is the first who is prnuncing debojit ans debjit without the "O'...himani gave the credit to the whole ZEE tev and parents but she kept it short...and now what i feared ....they started shwoing regional voting pattern... I HATE IT.. this is goign to leave some bad memories.....i am really disaapointed..lets see what is there to unfold..
shaand said that overall north zone , gave 1 crore 55 laksh votes...he saad he will slowly tell all the regional votes...now break.
diya came up with a performance on rahena hai tere dil mein..followed by a performace on kajra re.this time vinit sang the male lead...he is dancing with DIYA..he is dacncing with diya with arms in arms....he he he he.now follwoed by " mujhe tumse mohabbat " from a flop movie with imraan hasmi...debo joined him...they are also dancing together...debo's voice i am not able to listen...
man they are getting on my patience...it is been three hours ...
shaan declared that there were 3 crores votes from EAST zone... good that they are not showing that who got how much....now again a break....
now vinit sang the song "tera jaddo chal gaya" agan..superb performacne..iam getting tired.. you have never seen so many ads even in a indopak match...now debo sang the song " ek haseena thi".... it was also a good song...i am keeping it short..shan again came and declared the number of votes received from south and this is only 21 lakhs....good thing is that shaan has corrected his pocket flappers...sa re ga ma is coming with "ek main aur ke tu"..another serial ....and now the next round is one one song each from ID and HR, composed only for sa re ga ma..that will be fun. lets see how do they compose...now break..
now they are singing one special each tune composed by vinit and debo..they are showing an Av how these tunes were composed...here it goes..first is the song by ID...this is goign to be exciting...it starts with "tu dil hai mera" ..looks like a painful song...touch of sufiana...good song however not great but the back ground score is really powerful..debo is singing it well ....he is avaiable to evoke that feeling..
now it is time for HR.sameer penned the lyrics...well vinti is saying that this song has western and classical touch...the osng starts with " aap ke ishq ki madhoshi mein"....instantly you can feel it has LP touch....first time reading the lyrics...i am not impressed with the mukhra..lets see the antara.. i am not able to hear any western and nor classical touch...there is one beat goign behind..but that doesnt mean it is western... sorry folks i am not impressed with the song...either vinit sang it bad or the composition is bad...he ..the song is picking up at the end..now it is sounding good..vinit is sounding exactly like md .rafi... well at the end you can feel that song has left a impression....god picking at the end...id song was good at the start and HR song was good at the end....
shaan declared that west zone has given 75 lakhs...shaan is goign to declare the results...but after the break...i saw a hoarding "we love you sharukh khan"...is he coming?
as promised this was really short break....for the final time id and DEBo and HR and VINIT coming together...last commetns from vinits.... vinit says that he is feeling good...and he was nervous about the performance and he tried very hard....he said whatever the results and i have the best wishes of my guru..he thanked his family...and specially HR..HR hugged him tightly...now debo's turn...he thanked all the elders and supporters...he said it was major stepping stone..he thanked his guru Pt. Sharma...then he thanked ID..he said he got so much lvoe from ID. he declared that total votes recieved from last three weeks was ..he said the winner got 50.52 votes and the runner up got 49.6 % of votes..he saad the the margin was really thin.....allt otal they got 4.4 + crores of votes. he said he will not declare the results and he invited brij Munjal ( ceo of hero honda) and also fardeen, shiv kumar, diya mirza....every body is tensed..brij got the mike and he is not goign ot leave it so early..so he giving so me pep talks....HR is looking very composed....there he goes..he said the vocie of india
THE WINNER IS DEBOJIT......
Debo's wife started jumping and also ID's voice...Brij is shouting but Shaan is cutitng him short...DEBO is crying....VINTI is crying.... HR is composed.... HR congratulated DEBO... now atlast that idiot BRIJ mUnjal got the mike and he started blaberring...i cant say naything agaisnt HR..this is not that moment......brij gave the trophy to DEBO..he was joined by debo's wife... atleast debo hugged vinit..ID hugged VINIT...vinti is looking very cute.....DEBO's wife is over excited....HR is constanly consoling VINIT....i cant see vinit...he is lookign so sad....ID is hsouting yalgaar ho...paresh and rajeev picked up debojit on their arms....i am feelign really sad for vinit...also happy for DEBO..now GJ was invited ont o the stage.... they are posing for photos....they are playing ID's sad song in the back ground.....but now it looks like that is been played for VINIT..
debo is that he is very happy and he is happy that could make his mother's dream true...he asked his wife to say somethign and she thanked every body..though she said chahunga isntead of chahungi...jokes apart..
congratulations DEBO for winning and ALL THE VEYR VERY best to VINIT.
at the end IT IS MUSIC THAT HAS WON...........
