I wonder if HR realises that the more he has promoted vinit the more people have been turned away from him. As far as I know the people around me and myself included are all rooting for Debojit just so that he is taught a lesson and vinit does not win. At this point it has come to not who is the better winner, but who one thinks should be the winner and the qualifications are not based on talent. That they both have talent is a given. that they both will succeed is also a given. it is now who walks away with the title.

I think HR realizes. But I don't think he will change. You can see that he was _trying_ to tone himself down at certain points in the Delhi (or was it Calcutta?) show, by acting all diplomatic, saying both are great (or whatever it was that he said). But, my observation of HR is that he is a very impulsive manchild. I do not think all of his drama was planned and plotted....his behavior comes across as a lot of on-the-spot EGO. He cannot control his urge to act like he and his Vinit are the greatest gift to music. I really don't care for this guy or his music.
