Although sa re ga ma pa 2005 had many downs to it... I really enjoyed it in the long run and will miss it! After all... I got to hear singers like Hemachandra, Sharib, Nihira, and etc for the first and definitely not the last time!

Btw... When is the new sa re ga ma pa starting?

Oh ya, I will miss it for sure. But then, though this is the end, its just the beginning for so many people's journey. I am going to be more interested in knowing what is to happen for these gems coming out of this show...

Will Subash Ghai really give chance to Hema to sing in all his movies?

Would Ismail Durbar really make Nihira a star as he took an oath?

Would the winner (Debo or Vinit) break the stigma that winners of such reality shows usually dont have long term success ?

So many questions, can't wait to find out the answers!

SRGMP C2005 was exceptional to say the least. Those fights and all were like just daag on the chaand - made it more beautiful. I mean just for the fact that this program gave a platform to singers like Hema, Nihira, Himani, Debo and Vinit and people like Swananda and Paresh for whom this is like a reconnection with the country... all the mistakes are forgiven, for at the end of the day, we have all cried, laughed and breathed with relief with atleast one of the participants.

It had become a part of our daily conversations, we started dreaming those peoples dream, mad fans like me virtually stopped listening to songs by original singers coz i found them lacking the SRGMP touch!!

Indeed, it did touch our heart... be in Himani's Jiya Dhadak Dhadak or Sharib's Mann Ki Lagan or Ujjaini's Mausam ki Adla Badli, Vishwaas's Hum Tum, Debo's Ek Haseena Thi, Vinit's Is Pyaar Ko Main Kya Naam, Paresh's Na Tum Jaano na Hum, Swananda's Parde main, Nihira's Chalka Chalka or Hema's Nahin Saamne, each have a story... a beautiful story..

story of how a simple boy/girl..man/woman dreamt big and worked hard to achieve it..

I salute to the power of music...

👏 👏 beautiful post.. moreover, i will miss the forum a lot.. the fightings that we did and proving each others points of who is the best etc..

are so wonderful memories of someone's life... some got banned from the forum, some got scoldings for bad posts.. some were praised for their posts..

but atlast we all became frnds due to this forum.. though we say tat SRGMP, made india divide and other things, it brought us together to vote for this marvellous..

i too stopped listening to original songs.. all only SRGMP songs.. this show has made me practice my classical singing again(which i had stopped before an year)

SRGMP, tumhe hum salaam karte hai... 👏 👏 👏
