Now for VINIT:-

His rendering is simply superb
His throw is fanastic. ( please try to recollect his "Tera Jaadu Chal Gaya "song)
His control over SUR and SOZ is somehow amazing.
He's got too good a voice. ( though quite similer to sonu nigam- but that doesnt disqualify him to be a good singer himself ).

His singing is too perfact for commercial ( read Bollywood type ) Playback singing. Listen to his Rocky song with Sunidhi Chauhan and not for a single moment can you think that the singer of this duet is justa 17 old teenie booper.
( while debojit is good voice for stage shows where a gathering of hundred thousand of people dont exectly need the depth , the real emotions of the song , only loud music and some OK kinda singing is required......and Debojit is a good singer anyway.)

Vinit's style is of singing too perfact and professional. And if at this age he is this good then what shape his singing will take in the coming times is anybody's guess.

I still can give you more logics about Vinit and dear mojazwal - I am not a teenager or any other 'kinda' vinit's fan. I just gave you my point of views. No hard feelings for anybody whatsoever.

as for your discussion of singing abilities, it is all relative to how you judge. for me, technical skills and originality are equally weighted.... otherwise art is purely mechanical

Dear Mojazwal

seen today's telecast of KOLKOTTA ROUND ?

Debojit yet again proved that he is a good STAGE PERFORMER.
but the "sur" Laye" "Taal"" the rendering and the expressions were all there in only Vinit's singing.
vinit never let go even a minute detailing of compositions.whereas debo's singing was all for the public to feel good. He was again and again going out of "sur" aand even totally "Expressionless"

But still people were over reacting for Debu and it was clearly evident that they were cheering him not because of his singing but for the fact that he is Bengali. One girl even confirmed it on camera .

Although later in the end it was announced that vinit is fairing better then Debu now as for the vote counting is concerned , I still feel that ultimately Debu will have more votes then Vinit.

BUT.......

even this does not make Debu a better singer then Vinit.
" Gaayaki ke liye Janta ke vote nahin ...sur taal soz sangeet ki baarikiyon ki samajh chahiye.....
