What does Home Ground Benefit mean?

I have been following SRGMP from the beginning. Nowadays, everyone has a problem with Debo for getting benefit from the Home Ground. All the mentors are upset about the same. If you all go back and see the shows when the voting started, it was not the contestants who asked for regional votes. They were prompted to ask for the local votes very clearly. I don't understand why it becomes a issue/problem now. Didn't they anticipate the Home Ground votes could be high?

Coming to the mentors, AS and HR are against Debo for getting benefit from Home Ground. If they are very fair, they mean that the Home Ground should not support them, why the hell are they promoting and hyping their contestants all the time? Isn't it Home Ground support for the contestants from the Mentors? Now at this stage, the mentors are acting fooling to say that Debo is getting votes unneccessarily. For HR, Vinit is the best and for AS Himani and Hema are the best. When they say so, isn't it Home Ground benefit from the mentors? No Logic at all. Shows no sportsmanship.

I AM NOT A FAN OF ANY PARTICULAR CONTESTANT. I LIKE MOST OF THEM(EVEN THE ONES WHO COULD NOT MAKE IT TO AGNIPARIKSHA). I felt unfair about the comments the mentors pass not knowing what they themselves are doing.

I am not sure whether I am clear or not. I felt like posting the message while watching the previous episodes and especially the one when Hema was out. The reaction from AS was absurd. Hema is the best singer I agree. But, it's a competition. There is gonna be only one winner. Also, HR's behaviour and attitude is totally onesided.

well said. I feel that if the Home Ground votes are not valid according to the mentor, then let them not promote their Gharana's also. They want their Gharana's to win and if the home state wants the candidate to win, there is a problem.

Are the mentors so senseless.

Ultimately it's a game show where there is only one winner.

All the participants are singing well but due to the Mentors gimmicks and hyping, the goods singers are getting voted out. Their is a lot of talent which is misled and miscommunicated to public.
