Dear Music Lovers, Lets discuss about the various topics which no one touched till date. Those who want to express their views on such topics I recommended few of them,

Shaan as Host of SRGMP
The Format of the Show (Challenge 2005)
Various controversies handled by Gajendra Singh
Quality of the Show (Singing quality as well Technical quality)

I think topics 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 have been discussed in numerous posts.

As for II vs SRMGP, the biggest difference I see is that II has Independent auditors who count the verify the votes. Probably because it is a Franchise of sorts, it has to follow the rules/requirements as set by the original shows. SRGMP has lost its credibility because of the lack of this element e.g. Hema-Nihira tie. Loss of better singers vs worse singers (and over promotion of Vineet).

You can't help but wonder about the numbers. But whenever there's public voting, you cannot necessarily expect the best singer to come out as the winner.
