I've been reading several of the updates for episodes and I couldn't understand some of the things said because the people who wrote them were well versed in Indian classical music. So I was wondering if somebody could define some basic music terms in an easy to understand way like alaaps, antara, sur, harkats, etc. I'm really interested in this stuff and I think it's AMAZING that people can find mistakes in even talented singers. Maybe other people who haven't studied music would benefit.

THanx in advance!😊

Wow!!! Thanks a LOT adwarakanath. That helps. THe problem with books and stuff are that they use jargon and they use more music terms to define music terms. I appreciate the help.
