Vinit and Debojit face the music from four directors

As the run-up to the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa finale gathers momentum, the competition not only narrows down but also gets tougher for the two finalists this Thursday. Now, they will have to step out of their mentor's wings and contend with the presence of four guest composers – Vishal-Shekhar, Sandesh Shandilya, Pritam and Shantanu Moitra. These four judges will give the finalists songs of their choice and then evaluate them according to their performance on the show.

"On Thursday the 'mento-meter' (by which the mentors give marks to the candidates) will pass out of our resident-judges' hands into the hands of four completely unfamiliar and objective music directors," informs the show's director Gajendra Singh.

Reshammiya and Durbar will have to be mere spectators. "The point is to increase and toughen the competition for the two boys. So far they've been under their mentors' wings," says Singh.

Bhomika Chawla will add the glamour quotient when she joins these four judges this Thursday.
