i think they were tears of joy as chandu who is way above SRGM is finally set free from the dirty politics and dramebaazi of the show. this also meant that he could have the pleasure of working with chandu😉

Subhash Ghai came back again because the first time Mallika was supposed to come but she backed out at the last moment.Maybe she didnt find any good clothes (or enuf clothes) to come to a family show.So instead SG was requested to come in...

I saw SG saab in tears too when Hema was singing Preyasi.... Some how they didn't highlight that particular incident. They Showed Kapil in tears and his whole speech for Vinit though!!!!

My guess is that Kapil's tears had more to do with the lyrics of the song, and less with the singing itself. That song always makes me emotional too.
