apparaohoareji - I simply loved Hema's rendition of Vande Mataram and
he had a hat-trick with Ramta Jogi and Mitwa. Vande Mataram is an
extremely difficuly song to pull off!!
But Hema didn't stop with the hat-trick, his Nahin Samne left all of us
speechless!
about the walk-out what goes behind the scene we will never know and it
is wrong to judge anyone without full information (in this case we may
never know the truth). All I know is Hema seems very cultured, humble
and above all extremely talented (beyond comparison!!)
That way we can go on and on about who did right or wrong, ID's walk
out, biased scoring by mentors - for God's sake it affects someone's
career (Debo and Hema were targets for most part - somehow Vinit got
away!) and many other such incidents can be quoted.
I have never said that Hema did not sing well before yesterday's performance. Remember, I am a Hama fan. Ramta Jogi and Mitwa was fantastic. Did I ever say that these songs were bad, but these songs did not have standing high notes. Vande Mataram had high notes, I liked it but not very much. Again that's my personal opinion I felt he was stressing himself. I expected more from Hema. But yesterday's performance overshadowed everything.
About the walk out. Counting other's faults does not reduce my faults. So no matter who all did what in the sets earlier, ultimately what the audience has seen is Hemu doing a walk out. Whether he was forced by Vinit or Himani or the mentors, it really doesnot matter. When he walked out he became equally responsible for it, and that's what was not expected from him. He comes from a cultured, respectible, and musical family.
