Votes only 4m one part,gud i wil tel u y?

I have seen a lot on this forum abt regionalism and i myself wrote one on why hemu was getting less votes than others, so here it is my friends my logic on what will happen if a particular contestant wins on basis of voting from particular region , well his songs will be permitted to only that region. imagine this, there is this popular band in TN they were selected only from TN and they sing only there, only tam songs, that way see everyone is happy. there are lot of punjabi signers who bring out their albums no prizes for guess where they are more popular, but there are ppl who are loved (in form of votes ) from all over india like hemachandra and his songs are going to be popular all over.

My challenge to all other contestant fans is that, in saregamapa challenge 2006, 30% of the popular songs that the contestants will be singing are by hemachandra, if what i heard is true that subash ghai and ar rehman have given him chance, well, be ready to hear shaan say , contestant xyx is now going to present a song originally sung by our own hemachandra and judges woudl say sorry contestant if u had sung 50% as good as hema, we would have given u a gree card.

Aditi, no offence meant. I like Hema equally but one year to make such a mark would be quite herculean. Shaan, KK, and even Kunal took few years to make their mark .... Besides the old timers are still there even though they may reduced on their work (Abhijit, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu ....) and not to forget Sonu Nigam !!!

If Subash Ghai was all about musical success, the Ismail Darbarji would have been every director's choice ... inspite of being one of the best contemporary music directors, his work load is still very limited compared to HR who makes music every second movie !!!

I don't think a song for a Subash Ghai movie is the hallmark of success !!!!

I agree with Simplyskud, for any one of them it'll take some time to be successful, if you go through the biography of other singers (like Hariharan, KK...) you'll know yourself..

you are right, yes with HR making music for every second movie he is most popular now, but lets say AR Rehman ppl stil remember Roja, mumbai, taal lets say in five years how many ppl wil remeber Ashique banaya aapne or for that matter how many remember that movie of salman i think it was a HR music only.

i just saw music video of Aap ka surror , u still think HR is lambi race ka ghoda?

anyway only time will decide but hemus song will be song on saregamapa for sure.

Possible Aditi, but it'll involve two factors :

# Time (won't be in a year or two ... )
# Effort (Hema's got to stay focussed and keep on trying inspite of all failures bound to happen because of MDs like HR and like minded gang) ....
