1) Hema got eliminated 😭 😭
OR
2) Hema came to the top 3 when no one expected him to make it far 😃 😃 😃

Hema had to struggle the most he had...
1. No mentor support (almost all went to Himani, i don't mean to say she didn't deserve it.)
2. He got almost NO publicity. A lot of guest comments on his singer were cut and durring the diwali concert, they kept showing rajiv instead of Hema when they were performing together,
3. NO voter base. Vinit has HR and Debo has the whole of NE voting for him.

IT WAS A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR HEMA TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP 3!!!!!!!

I wish to thank you for posting mp3 of these contestants. So far, I have burnt 2 CDs and listen to those while commuting to work. That is the best way to judge these contestants as you do not look at their faces - you just listen to pure music.

Based on that, (and again, thanks to your hard work), I can say that Hemu is a good singer. He has very melodious, strong voice which convey feelings. Debu is equally good, except that his diction is better. Vinit is good.

In girls (though it doesn't matter now), its Nihira (yes, she conveys emotions through her voice as opposed to many who "saw" her performing), who is number one. And then Ujjaini, Raktima, and Himani come (not necessarily in that order)

this article mentions 1.25c total votes. someone in another thread had posted a similar number, out of which they said that debo supposedly got 70L, 45L of which was from the NE, 25L from rest of india. that leaves 20-25L each for hema n vineet. in other words, this time around debojit got as many votes from rest of india as the other two from all-india (including their home regions)!

if those figures (from an unreliable source) can be believed, then the point is simple- people in india have resoundingly rejected underhanded attempts to marginalize a deserving singer and the sleazy efforts on the part of HR and AS to gang up against him and undermine him. the politics of division lost big time!!!

It was like 52 lakhs Debo , 42 laks for Vinit and 35 lakhs for Femu. Voting pattern has not changed much.

It is so very sad to see Hemu out and you'd think he was the most deserving.

I just cannot believe that Debojit got so many votes I mean come on he is a good singer but so good that he gets so many votes with Hemu being left out. I somehow feel betrayed by the show.

While reading the article on "Mumbai Mirror" did you guys see that even GS was saying that both Debo / Vinit are equally worthy of winning the final round. What about Hemu as per lots he is the worthiest of these two.

This goes to show that the kind of hype / publicity both of these participants got really helped them gain sympathy votes whereas poor Hemu was totally left out.

Seems there is no place for good and simple people like Hemu to top it all he got AS for his mentor who did not do anything for him absolutely other than to just hype Himani.

I still cannot believe Hemu is out. 😭

absolutely agree...word by word!!

one more imp thing is, he didnt even have support from south..the main problem in south india is 99% of the ppl( leaving hyd, b'lore) dont even watch hindi channels, or progs. they are totally into regional channels. so, watever support he got was from INDIA... tat itself is a gr8 achievement!!
