Voting pattern of Sa Re Ga Ma

The voting pattern of Sa Re Ga Ma in the final rounds is appalling. Though it sounds good that viewers are voting the singers, it often happens that viewers vote for a singer on any other consideration, but the singing ability - looks for instance. What have looks got to do with singing? If looks were really important, Kishore Da and Mohd Rafi Saheb would never could imagine to become singers.

All viewers may not have the sagacity and knowledge of intricacies of music to vote for a candidate. Listening to a song as a normal listener is different from voting for a singer. Choice of singers should be made only by music directors - even if they have their biases, it's far better than public voting system.

Moreover, why are mentors' scores shown before the public voting? This could bias the public's voting pattern. Mentors' scores should be shown along with the results of the public voting.

In short, the voting pattern needs to be changed drastically.
