Please consider!

Hi!

First of all, let me clarify that I'm not a supporter of any party- every week I vote only on the basis of singing. So pl. consider the following points coolly-

1) Do you all really think that kids of 17-18 are bold enough to stage a walkout without even asking their mentors in the live audience in front of so many people. That too without a rational explanation. Everyone was expecting the other to explain. Comeon, they have been on TV for the 1st time. None has such guts, and they are not fools that on one hand they are trying to create a good image in the eyes of the people( by saying that they will do things for children etc. etc.) and then they will openly disgrace themselves by behaving in such a manner.

For a moment, think like the maker of a show. The channel is concerned with TRP's. Such news has given a boon to TRP. So what I feel is that the children have been told to behave like that, either by the makers or by someone else. And I have a reason to believe this- every person associated with the show is giving a diff. answer to the big Q- why the children walked out. One person says that b'coz they have been threatened by ULFA. GS says that it is a ploy of one of the mentors (that too openly, mind you, without thinking that this statement could infuriate the mentor and he would leave the show right in the middle- is that practical???).

Coming to the role of media- newspapers have all come across with diff. articles, some papers say thst children objected from his getting max. votes from Assam. Who knows if it is true??? It was AS who said that maybe this is the reason, and then the audience started shouting. The children did not say anything (again proving that they had nothing to say- it was all framed- why didn't they put their views forward if they were so angry???) I have always believed that one rumour leads to another, maybe the newspapers are creating a hue and cry out of this whole issue because of the regionalistic issue that the audience and AS brought out.

I will not say anything about the behavior of their family members cos that will start another debate. None of us know the truth. And who knows what a person feels from inside.

Think about it very coolly- 3 good singers are not so immature enough to risk the good image they themselves have created, that too without consulting the mentors. They are not so camera friendly pl.

And yes, before i forget- I read in one of the articles that GS says that this incident has spoilt the reputation of his whole show. If such is the case, why was such an embarassing episode shown, why not edit it or cancel it, or for one week replace it with a film or movie. It has happened before also.

Pl. Think carefully without being biased. The whole of this thing appears more like a TRP drama than a reality show, and the expressions of thier family members- obviosly they weren't told about it. Maybe they took it for real. And that is why all that fighting and bitching took place.

PS- I don't intend to get a lot of praise for all this. But I know that there is a lot of untruth in this channel rivalry and media show. Please vote for the best voice only, and do not consider any type of cheap provocations and stuff!

Damn to the people who want to break up my India. HUM SAB EK HAIN! Consider it from the fact the I have studied in Orissa, born in Maharashtra, father and mother are from Chattisgarh and I am currently in Rajasthan. So on this forum, at least, do not bring up and India- Assam issues. All the remaining 3 are excellent. The one who wins will only be called lucky, cos talent is something they all (including Nihira, Sharib, and many others) possessed.

SO LETS VOTE ONLY FOR MUSIC!!!

that quality come from your upnringing. don't say what you would do (maa main tumhe har khushi dena chahta hoon), just do it. as they say in maraThi "aadhi kele mag saangitale". but people like vinit(a) and HR won't get it. they want to make show of everything even if it involves their mothers. they wouldn't leave even their mothers alone if they could explout them to extract votes from gullible public.

for that matter, i think denojit's vriddhashram crap was also a ploy to get more votes.

but vinit and and HR are at their worst when it comes to exploit their moms to get votes.

No but Debu's wife shud not be crying as soon as she faces the camera ... n it is very clear that the uncultured wife of Debu said " woh bloody 17 yr old ..." so lets not talk about Vinit's parents getting resiprocative to Debu's wife ... also Debu is the biggest drama in the show anyways ... although a Vinit fan I must admit Hemu has no drama package with him ... Hemu is the only singer to whom I can see justification of Vinit losing ... Hopefully the south n north will wake up and vote lots for Vinit and Hemu

Hi this is the my first post on this forum .Until now i was reading all the threads and just can't believe how people get crancky about a show and get personal and bash each other and people they don't even know.This is the only post i really liked and agree with .I guess many on this forum think that what they know and believe is the ultimate truth and rest of them who have their own opinions are fools and know nothing about music.

I totally agree with you that everything is done and shown for the ratings .I always liked saregamapa.I have this channel and pay 30 dollors a month just to watch this show in US.But guess everything changes with time .They have followed other channels and want to boost up their ratings by creating drama,suspence and thrill and chills.
They turned it into a soap opera.I like the orijinal format where real judjes judje contestants and make them sing diff varieties of songs .I don't know why they eneded up choosing this sms drama.I guess the answer is obvious.
I personally think all the contestans who were in final 10 were talented and had their own style of singing.They all worked hard to come here .We all have our fav but that doesn't mean that others are anything less.If we agreed to go by voting by public then you have to play by rules.It shouldn't matter where the votes are coming from and how many.Once the rules are set then you have to go with the result .If debojit wins or nihira loses the contest.Why make such a fuss.People are listening to them and their talent will never be neglected in the long run .One who is talented will get offers and win in the real world.

The imp thing i want to say is about the walk out.I don't want to judje them and say what they did was right or wrong .I was not there and i don't know what kind of pressure they were under and under what circumstances they made that decision .These are young kids who are just getting to know the hardships of life and fame .
Lets think for a min that what they did was totally wrong and unacceptable .Its hard to believe that these kids who left their houses and studies and work for this chance and who were till now bowing their heads to everyone and looking at their mentors for their words of praise and were well behaved abd polite can do such thing on their own and put their career in jeprody and and get all the negative attention .My guess is that this was all staged or were kind of played as pawns to get ratings.
I think gajendra singh is resposible for not handling this in a proper way. I think all the mentors are equally to blame .Even if the kids did make a biggest blunder and planeed this walkout on their own,as elders and who have seen lot of things in life should have given them advise and warned them in private.It was unnessasary to air all this on tv and create negative attention towards the contestants .From six months they must be going though so many up and downs and lot of pressure and stress. I feel very bad for all these contestants .Finally they were the victims and the public who was fooled to send more and more sms.

I have seen so many people commenting and bashing others and getting angry in this forum.If we who are just watching the show for an hour or so can get raged and say the worst possible things about these contestants then imagine what kind of pressure the contestants must be under.If the mentors cannot control their frustaration and anger and ego and act silly by shouting and walking out then what can i say about these kids .

So chill out and realx and enjoy the music .Vote for your fav contestant .But congratulate the one who wins in the end .Its the right thing to do.

After what was being doen to him anyone wife will cry.. i have seen tears in almost every persons famalies eyes..and also what abt the Kotha ki baat said by Vinits mom.. and the biggest drama is beign done by HR and Vinit.. I do admit that debo should also not talk of any more Mothers dream( with all respect to his mother).

Dont worry North and South rising is soon going to take place in Mumbai.. Nihira getting less vote from maharashtra because of these kira makora from other states shamelessly come there and do voting on lingo
