am sorry to say...its no more a music competition...its now turned out to be elections and whom to blame for it...the bussiness tycoons with their bright ideas of voting by SMS's for cashing in as much as they can.

at the end of the day who r the sufferrers....the contestants...they r facing the wrath....with voting stupidity which has affected some of the good singers like sharib....rakthima...while rajeev was getting votes from his region...

so i differ in saying this is a "MUSIC COMPETITION"....

This is a popularity contest.. there will be bias with respect to an indivizual perspective.
Even if judges were to judge this .. there still would be bias though minimal ..maybe more( Jagjit singh - Alka Y episode)

Kishore was more popular in the 70's and 80's as opposed to Rafi.. that does not make Rafi a lesser singer. Kishore's greatest asset was his voice which rafi could not replicate.

if anything rafi had a much better voice than kishore... rafi has had the best voice from all male singers! 😛

All said and done, the final 12 in the AgniPariksha round were all talented .... All of them have their strengths and weaknesses ....

I'm not in favour of public voting but if it has been introduced, I abide by it and the verdict it spells ...

No two opinions on that .... After all it'll be one among the 12 best selected by judges supposed to be exponents of good music !!!

😉 😉 😉
