i agree with u...but anywayz ismail darbar is still there...and nihira will surely make it really really big...and i still say that nihira is betta than a lotta of the singers we have in the industry...she surely has the potential...and the voice to become a legend...

Remember she was finding it somewhat difficult 2 sing Kavita's song,Hamesha Tumko chaha"

i think she was ill that day...because i downloaded the song and if you hear it with earphones...you can hear her coughing...even in rahen na rahen hum...

but after kavita...nihira is def my favourite singer...

Nihira is a good singer, but she is NOT BETTER than Kavita Krishnamurthy.

She could not sing "Hamesha Tumko Chaaha" as well as Kavita... she made some mistakes that day and struggled with that song.

Shreya Ghosal is the only singer to have won 2 filmfare best singer awards in the first 2 years of her career... that is an amazing way to start one's career. She will not be that easy to overtake...

Hamesha tumko chaha was a tough composition. I bet even KK would find it tough to sing it on stage in one go without making a single mistake. That apart, KK has been in the industry for decades now and has loads of experience. The two singers are not comparable as yet.

Nihira as yet is not a professional singer. Obviously when she will embark on a proper professional career, she will undergo a lot of training and riyaz. I think the question is whether Nihira has the potential of going further than most of these listed playback singers. I would say yes - most of them barring Lataji.

While I wish Nihira all the best, I don't think that Nihira herself would want to
be compared to these greats at this stage. She still has a way to go. Shreya
is her closest colleague but this poll seems a bit silly to me.
