Salvage the reputation of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

I am posting a topic on this forum for the first time.

I am making few suggestions to bring back the past glory of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and salvage the reputation of Zee TV. Let us leave behind all the mistakes and chaos that has been created by the program director, in the past weeks.

Here are my suggestions, which I think will control the damage done to this great programme.

1) Bring back all the 12 challengers qualified for Agnipariksha round.

2) Take out AS, HR and ID from the Stage

3) No challenger is allowed to talk about his personal life on the stage.

4) Bring in a new set of 10 judges with different skill sets and from different geographical origins. For example,

a) Shiv-Hari , Pt. Jasraj, AR Rahman

b) Ilayaraja, Chitra, SP Balasubramanyam

c) Kavitha Krishna Murthy, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan

5) There need to be 2 winners, one in Male group and another in Female Group. I think there are 6 male and 6 female challengers that qualified for Agnipariksha. So there will be 3 rounds for each group. Quarterfinals has 6 challengers and 4 of them will be moved to Semifinals and 2 for finals.

6) Each round will have a) Semi-classical b) Judge's Choice 3) Folk Song 4) Pop-song

7) Stop public voting

8) Mentors will still be training the challengers but they are not allowed to talk on the stage.

9) Results of the judges need to be submitted to an independent Audit Firm, who will announce the results.

Any suggestions? I know it involves some cost to revive the program, but it worth it to bring back the due respect to this wonderful programme.

You know that might actually work if they were truly looking for a singer. By now, we all know that's not the case. 😭

now saregamapa is not as before . people can never judge a real good singer . stop public voting , gajendra singh . we all indian strongly oppose the public voting and all other unnecessary footage given to singers ( like they are acting , wearing cap , their love ) ..... you are responsible for lowering the quality of indian music . i am really surprised . how could you direct and allow such nonsence ( topi , love etc etc ........ ) let the indian music grow .....we have lot of fashion designers and film producers to do the rest . you concentrate on singing skills]

Well said and I totally agree with it.

This Public Voting system has to END. Actually, I think it's too late now. This show has already lost all it's charm and credibility. It's completely messed up now. The best singers have been Nihira, Himani, Sharib and Hema and out of which only Hema is still in.

I sincerely hope that Zee/Gajji see this as a challenge and fix all these issues in the next run.
