When it came to Qawwali,among all the play back singers of past and present no body came near to Rafi. The alaaps he took before during and and at the end of the qawwali were impeccable, Only Mannadey could match him.The high pithed allap at the end of 'Parda hai parda hai' in the original was left out by Veneet

i'm vinit's fan, but i think he has a couple of years before he can reach sonu nigam's or mohd. rafi's voice, but he is a really good singer, just need a couple more years to develop

I appreciate the sense of humour, whoever started the post.

Listen to Parda hai Parda again from Vinit(If I was asked to mentally torture somebody, I would do this) and listen to the one from Rafi.

ok the mentors like him... ok judges gave him green cards... but that doesn't mean he is comparable to Rafi Sahab! if such a contest did exist where Rafi and Vinit sang then Rafi-ji wud wipe the floor with Vinit!!!

Vinit can only manage to mimic Rafi-ji but he has not a smidgen of talent 2 recreate rafi'ss excellence!!

Rafi-saab in the same sentence!!

This is a huge insult to Rafi saab!

Moreover, if he does sound like him to you, then that's all the more reason to eliminate him. We don't want clone artists in this industry.
