Hema - did justice to Hariharan Voice!

Just watched 'Hai Rama song' by Hema. Adesh cleverly selected a south singer's voice to Hema not to take any chances in the final stages! Hema did sing it superbly. Even Vinit sang the Sonu song "Sandeshe Aate hai" superbly...cleverly selected by HR. Debu too sang well...but lost some sur somewhere...I say not clever decision by ID to give him a Illayaraja song!!

It's not wrong that they inspire or sound similar like some established singers...but what counts is that how well they can sing even if their voice resembles other singers.

Now that the show having lot of unwanted acts/dramabazi/boring comments etc...its just that we listen to the singers....enjoy the song...!

Thats why there is TV...to enjoy your favorite programs!

yup I too just saw this episode telecasted in USA.Sumhow I feel tht the song given to nihira wasnt a good choice, she sings so well so shld ve been given a classical song tht wld bring out her best wth ease like chittiye which was sung by himani.
but above all I loved Hemu's performance, hope he wins!!

Exactly MrsPetLover. I feel like this whole things was fixed. That song is do
difficult and Hema sang it so well - -believe me I listened carefully.

I am so sick of the drama and the Ajmeri Baba commercials so I DVR it and
just limit myself to the performances and listen to them twice.

I think that Vinit did not do justice to the song -- too many breaths took
away from the song. Also, did you notice that after the pause, he started the
song too early (hard without the clicks -- you can see his weakness and
Himani clapping trying to will him back on track)

I have lost my favourite contestant Nihira.........And now I dont want Hema to loose............Hema was really mindblowing and he did complete justice to his song.............He is just superb. Infact what I say is that he should have got 10/10 from mentors. Atleast one 10 from either of the two. Himesh will never give hema 10 but what happened to ISmail darbar?.......I think he too was little biased and favours that damn vinit.........

Vinit is a good singer. I dont deny that but NOT my favourite. HE doesnot sing to my expectations. His voice is not atall good. Little weaker on low notes but delivers high notes well. Todays song chosen by Himesh to vineet was just for making people to cry. The tears were rolling down from kapil's eye due to the wordings and the meaning of the anthra which he sang and not because he sung it well. Himesh is very cunning to choose that song for him and doing all that natak and bringing his mother on the set..................

According to me, the following contestants should have got following score from mentors.

Nihira - 10/10 ....Splendid performance (victory performance which stupid gajji didnot allow her to be so)
Himani - 10/9 ...... excellent ...minus one because her voice was very slightly wavering. but excellent performance.
Hema - 10/10 .....Fantastic and no words for him. This shows how highly qualified singer he is.....Top singer in my opinion.
Deboo - 8/8 ........Delivered the difficult song very well, good modulation of voice. Very good redention. But somewhere in anthra "THROW KE CHAKKAR MEIN LADKADAYA"...SHOULD HAVE GIVEN LITTLE MORE EXPRESSIONS TO THE SONG.................OTHERWISE FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE.
Vineet - 9/9 ..........Delivered the song well, Controlled sur nicely and nothing more to say. He is just hyped much and people admit him all that............Thats it.

Absolutely riveting performance by Hema!!! I couldn't take my eyes off the screen for fear of missing anything, any small detail... Guys, we are watching history being created here... Hema is one of those guys who is destined for only the top honors. And has any one noticed how focused and humble the boy is... He is such a professional!!! Everytime they show him sitting, waiting for his turn to perform, you always can see him enjoy the song being sung by other contestants... This shows his dedication to not just winning the contest, but shows his respect to the field of music... Unlike Vinit who was blowing on some party baloon while other people were singing. Goes to show what respect he has in his mind for music...

I just hope and pray Hema gets well soon and is healthy enough to prove to world that he is a force to reckon with!

Kapil did not cry because of the song. He remembered Sachin and to see how commited Sachin was in his young years and what Sachin had to sacrifice in order to achieve his goals.
