Says Ismail Darbar and quits Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge in a huff, after his candidate Nihira was knocked off

Real drama unfolded on the sets of a reality show when Sa Re a Ma Pa Challenge judge and music director Ismail Darbar stormed out after his favourite contestant Nihira Joshi was eliminated from it. The decision was taken by the audiences. An irate Darbar ranted that he disagreed completely with the audiences' decision and vowed to prove them wrong.

Although Darbar refused to comment on the matter, Gajendra Singh confirmed the incident. "Yes, Nihira was voted out," he said. "We all know that she is a very talented singer, but when the audience has the deciding power, we don't have any control. They make their decision based on the contestant's talent, charisma and the ability to entertain people. Nihira could not deliver on all counts and her ratings kept dropping every week. The day she was eliminated, she got the least number of votes. Unfortunately Ismail took it personally. He got upset and challenged the audiences' decision. He said that if the audiences cannot take the correct decision, they have no right to vote. He also vowed that he would make Nihira a star one day."

Darbar was so upset that he no longer wanted to remain part of the show. "He said he no longer believed in the show," said Singh, "After Nihira was eliminated, he refused to speak to anyone. All he said was, 'Uske jaane ke bad show mein kya raakha hai?' (There's nothing left in the show after Nihira's exit). I guess he felt hurt because he had believed she would win."

After Nihira, Darbar suffered a second blow when his second favourite contestant Debojit Saha too got the minimum number of votes. Both Adesh Srivastava and Himesh Reshamiya gave him six points each. "At that, he simply lost his temper and stormed out of the sets," Singh added. "We stopped shooting and waited for him to return for over an hour, but he refused to take our calls. Finally we had to go ahead and finish the shoot without him. It was the first time that he hasn't taken a call from me, so I know that he is very upset." Now, Singh as well as Srivastava and Reshamiya are trying to meet Darbar to convince him to return to the show. "He must come back for the sake of the other contestants," he said. "It will be my loss if I lose him."

I sincerely hope he doesn't come back & gives GS taste of his medicine.......but isn't he equally responsible for Nihira's ouster by agreeing to Public voting.........Its time to do prayeschit........ID saheb...! Please don't come back.

Ismail ji apka jawab nahi.
Good that he boycotted this show that is already fixed. Hope he doesn't get convinced by anyone. Hope he does not return to the show ever. I'm very happy for what ID did. Gajji u should learn that public voting does not work.

As far as i know....Nihira already has sung songs....the latest being the one in "Bunty aur Babli"...and it is unfair that audience voted her out...IF this is TRUE AND CORRECT information.
However, like all "audience-vote-directed-shows" we have to live with it.

AM sure she will make it big one day...she is still young and has a long way to go.

Iron , he was being supportive of himani .... that shows that he is not biased ..... himani is not a bad singer she is a good singer thats she was praised for the hell of it . ID has always been fair with all the contestants . NIhira deserved to be on the top !!
