Debojit's yodeling & awesome performance

USA Monday: (Paresh's elimination episode)

Debojit gave an awesome performance !! The "Mein hu jhumjhum".. the yodeling number of Kishore-da. Simply brilliant !! Not a single contestant of Saregamapa can sing anything near it !! Debojit proved what he is made of !! So good that for the first time his mentor ID requested people to vote for Debojit. The other mentors never praise him and will not do so .. because he is perceived to be a threat to Vinit and Hema. They always give him the minimum possible points. Debojit was simply the best today ... and HR could not help but try negative tactics.. saying Debojit is not a good singer and that Debojit is a big threat and is around #1 ...

Assam is a small state and Silchar Assam is a much smaller town ... and not that many Silcharites are around the world ... so you will not see that many supporters of him on india-forums ... and Debojit is a bengali and left his job in Silchar to venture into Mumbai and struggle. It has been 2 years hes in Mumbai and the show has provided him a stage to present his great talent !!

I can assure you hes one of the most genuinely good persons I have ever known. The old age home that Zee showed is not a one week visit .. he has been visiting for so many days ...

The atmosphere at the recording is so tense .. especially with Himesh and Gaj favoring and giving special treatment to Vinit ... and others given stepmotherly treatment.. especially for the guys .. and ID is not as oversupportive (he doesnot fake things and does not praise just for the heck of it) ... so sometimes that shows in Debojit.. if you look at Debojit you will know that hes assured as if he has been assured he will survive these rounds ... Nihira also knows that she will survive a few and go out..

But this is a show and no more a talent contest ... so show goes on ... and all the circus we see...

Debojit deserves to win this contest ... so Debojit and Himani !!

I agree. Debojit's performance was nothing short of outstanding.

akshobar dada yaani 100% true. Debojit would give any of the current singers a run for their money with his perfecto rendition.....simply loved the yoddling bit👏 But that sorry x'cuse of a mentor HR still had to pick at him coz he felt threatened for his pet protege Vinit😡.However it is imp for Debu to win this farce of a contest coz he has a deadline as in age to meet & after yrs of struggle he certainly deserves to take it all.

jmn7: You are being very kind. I had suggested it in the IF that Debu sing Kishore Da bcoz I feel he can do a good job at it and others fail to do so. Sapthak and others failed singing Kishore Da.

I feel Kishoe Da songs are hardest to sing. Debu may have read it in the IF or someone in the IF may have picked it up as a good idea and told Debu this.

Debu sang it very well. Made my day - vey sweet voice.

BULLSEYE OBSERVER_24_7 ! Who have got the point absolutely correctly. Yes . It is a fact that the opponent mentors underrate Debojit's performances each & every week .Because in their hearts they know that Debojit is a better singer than Vinit can ever be . They know that Debu is a versatile singer and he can sing different types of songs with equal brilliance & Debojit proved that exactly whem he sang MAIN HOON JHUM JHUM .Bet you any thing that if Vinit tried this song , he would P in his pants. I personally think that the mentors will be angry if a singer from a remote part of India win this compettition as ,according to them , it is so very unfashionable.


P.S . BENGAL and BENGALIS WILL ALWAYS RULE

I am a punjabi but I luv my Babu Moshai. He is my Roshogollllah - sweet and soft voiced. He went oodley oodley and I remembered Kishore Da. The past came right in front of me. Infact, I am willing to bet this man will reach Kishore Da's level if some good music Director takes him on - someone like ARR and works with him.

Debu has a very good heart and works very hard. If anyone deserves successs it is my Babu Moshai. Love you, Babu Moshai - if you are reading this - I am a very big fan of yours forever. God Bless you with success forever.

He is just a simple music lover who loves Debu's and Nihira's voices very much -- he keeps expressing opinions DIL SE. Nothing else -- people pull his leg all the time so please do not read much into what others say about him ..... han when he gets impressed, he is never shy to express himself... just like you would ...
