NRI voting must be bogus

i agree with most of you that the game is fixed and voting doesn't really matter.

one reason that makes me believe voting (at least the NRI voting) is bogus is by the time NRIs could watch and vote on the performance next elimination episode is already recorded.

i live in US and they air the show on Monday/Tuesday. Monday is the elimination round and Tuesday is the performance round based on which people are expected to vote. I guess Canada and UK also have similar schedule. As I understand from this forum, they record the show on Mondays (India time). So there is no way NRI votes will be counted.

Even the people in India get only 2 1/2 days to vote (Friday after the show is aired, Saturday, Sunday and till 10am on Monday). Getting 60 lakh+ messages during that period seems amazing (and unlikely to me).

Agreed.Why is not someone demanding independent public audit of votes? Moerover,they introduced online voting after Swananda lost.How can you change rules in the middle of a contest?

Right... I guess public sometime don't select the deserved singers, they go for language, looks,part of the country they come from (look at paresh.. all gujju vote wl go to him).. I live in USA.. i can not vote until i see the programme..Pls vote for the BEST, because SRGMP is the Best programme

when shaan announces the # votes, it sounds like that's the # of votes received during that week. either that's what they mean or is misleading.

second;y, when ujjayini got voted out she received 3+ lakh votes. i don't think it was a cumulative number.

if they received 60 lakh + votes in last week and 57 lakh + in the previous week, the % of votes got by each contestant could not vary too much if they were cumulative numbers.

hey thats a very good point... because I'm living in UK and here I have just seen the episode after Twinkles elimination and then the performances of the remaining 7 contestants although now even Ujjaini has left... but the voting matches that because on the sify website ujjaini is no longer there so we can only vote for the remaining 6 altho we haven't seen there performances, which is wrong

i think public votes shouldnt be happen. first because people intend to vote for the person not because he/she sings well but because people know him/her. 2nd people vote not because how well he/she sings but because where is he/she from. 3rd people vote not because he/she sings well but because people who they know or who they fancy or who they would like that person to win

Vote for who sings from the soul, who has touched ur heart and u will get ur answers.

i agree with jigneshcarsane, although these votes may not have any effect in this fixed game.

to add to your point, the contestants appealing people from their region in local language is ridiculous. but once somebody starts it, others cannot stay behind.
