Aadesh Srivastava is not an authority to comment on Lucky Ali's singing as the music composer was Rajesh Roshan. Rajesh Roshan has sustained a brand name far above and ahead of all the contemporary music composers. He sustained his name at a time when RD Burman was at his perfect best.

So this kind of statement is not correct. These two songs are masterpieces of Lucky Ali. Paresh was not even close to 10% of what he had sung. I don't know why Aadesh Srivastatva made that statement though simply disacknowledging the name of the singer. Has he forgotten that the album of Kaho Na Pyaar hai was a roaring and phonomenol hit of the year 2000?

Hey Guys,

Relax, it was a Faux Pas on the part of AS. As many of you already know, AS has been abysmal with arithmatic, he probably doesn't know the difference between 1000 times and 1/1000th. He meant the latter but couldn't say it right.
Please don't get carried away by some incorrect calculations done by AS.

Hey guys I want your view point when AS said Paresh sung 1000 times better than ORIGINAL SINGER from Kaho na piyar hai film. I was shocked to hear this comment from a musician of the calibre of AS. I know he must be having good knowledge about music tahn me but I think Paresh sang well but not better than Lucky Ali because if you hear the original song it had lots of love feelings in it which was missing in Paresh's singing the same song. I think AS was trying to impress someone out there or punishing Lucky ali for something.

Lucky Ali's singing bad does not warrant paresh singing being good. If Lucky Ali sings bad (which he infact does)than paresh and his mentor choosing him, either because paresh is capable of this much or thinking Lucky is a good singer both go against Paresh. Alas! 😭

Paresh getting a yellow already proves that he did not sing the song well however if anyone might recollect AS does not like Lucky Ali and has at one point in the show called him "besurah" and this explains his statement of Paresh singing better than Lucky Ali.

I agree that Paresh sang really really good but won't say better than Lucky Ali. But being a musician probably AS knows what the difference is between singing in a recording studio and live on stage thats why he said it.

It is true that paresh sang the song with full feeling and energy. I agree with adheshji, that it was 1000 times better than the original one .
