Does SRGMP release CDs/DVDs?

Hello all,

I wonder if SRGMP realeases DVDs or CDs of the best performances of each season.

I have just been watching since a few weeks now, and I am sorry to say I have missed out on so much great music.

I would pay money to have CDs with Himani singing Jeeya Dhadak or Hema singing Saathiya and all the rest of the great performances. Ibet I'm not the only one either.

I tried the downloads, and no disrespect to the poster, but the 128kbps quality just doesn't cut it.

There are cds for sale but the content of those cds are the songs sung by contestants but with the original singers singing...so basically like a compilation cd of those songs from the origianl soundtrack. I too was hoing we could have the opportunity to buy cds with the sings sung by the participants. In the US "American Idol" (which "Indian Idol" is based upon) sells dvds of each of episodes, packaged as seasons or years. Wish Zee would make dvds of Challenge 2005 right from the beginning.

American Idol is based on Britain's Pop Idol.

Of course it is, nobody's original with anything anymore. Half the stuff in America comes from Britain, then that goes right back in the direction of India!
