I think you cannot compare two singers with totally different voice styles and modes. Compare Himani with Twinkle, Sunidhi or likes of Alisha. Compare nihira with Ujjaini, Shreya Ghoshal.I think both of them have distinctive voices and will go a long way.

Both songs of this week: "Ishq Khudaii Rab Ney Banai as well as Rangeela Ray" were Sunidhi type item numbers and Nihira did a fabulous job so please hear them again. You will see the all rounder we have on our hands. Nihira is beating Himani at her own game.

Now I challenge Himani to sing: Kehna hi Kya ke Nain ek Anjaane they jo miley and Hare Rama Hare Krishna in 2 octaves. If she does it better than Nihira then I will fly to Mumbai and Crown her the princess of SRGMP 2005.

I don't believe that ID made that remark about Himani. What a stupido. He makes sporadic statements without thinking. I have highest regard for Aadesh Srivastava. He is the only mentor who has consistently kept the morale of all his contestants on the high without discriminating as well as gave a break to a contestant from another Gharana (Nihira) in his movie Alag just because he found her highly deserving.

He has a good recognition of precious stones being such a veteran musician.

don't worry Id said HImani should win finals cuz that time he heard her song and it was so nice. he always say good stuff to himani when she sings well. ONLY things prove by ID saying Himani should wins means he wants best to win, that doesn't mean have to be HImani only.

But to raise Himani to the highest pedastal and say you will win this contest is unforgivable at this stage of the game. If I ever meet ID, that is the first thing I am going to ask him: Man, what were you smoking??

I tend to agree with the view that ID praised Himani to such great heights maybe because he felt obliged to AS and wanted to return favors. But at this stage of the competition esp. when such gullible forces as the Indian masses are involved in deciding and sealing the fate of the contestants - one has to be careful in choice of words. People can be misled by impressions as they are gullible.

Behind the curtains you can be the best of friends and do each other favours but in front of the camera, one has to be careful about the choice of words. The person leading by example is a certain mentor who's overhyping of a certain candidate has gotten him the max votes so far. However irritating he may appear to most of us, the fact remains that it is the overt canvassing of HR that has been getting Vineet the highest votes.

One may argue that singers like Nihira do not need the winner's crown to prove their talent - but the fact remains that it is a feather on the cap and does go down as a feat in the histroy of the programme.

Sorry - it's just my viewpoint. 😳

Even i was suprprised and more shocked when ID said that Himani should win the finals. But then i thought he means that Nihira's life is sure to be made as far as her singing carrer goes, but for Himani it could be a good start,(as she also performs etc..) what say?
Again my personal opinin is that if the contest gives honest and deserving results- then there should be no more arguments ab't NIhira vs Himani as Nihira is certainly better

Though it is difficult to compare since both of them are talented in their own ways. However Nihira is a better and more complete singer.

First of all,Plzz guys don't compare Nihira with Himani or Himani with Nihira.Second, sarfarosh edit your post plzz as writing in caps lock means shouting in net.

Himani who is a very good and amazing singer can come upto the finals with her voice. My favourite songs of her- Mine yaar manani chaahe log boliya bole and Kache Dhaage. Her singing prooves that she will surely go ahead in her life for sure.😃

Nihira who really sings well. She is one of my favourites. She is a very consistent singer in Saregamapa. My fav songs of her- Chup chupke and Harerama harekrishna. She is a very gud singer and may she win the contestant

So both the contestant's voice are really different from each other so let us not compare their voice and say who is better. 😊

I love ID, I love his music, I love his passion but as I said when (not if) I meet him next that is the first thing I will tell him and hear it from him as to why he said that. What was he smoking that day.
